Rich Fields is a series of works by Proxy that explores architectural form-making in the context of infinitely divisible conditions. Generated through simulation and mathematical equations, each image actively explores thresholds of resolution and sampling in the determination of extreme fineness, both in surface and patterning. As part of the ScriptedByPurpose show at the Fuel Collection Gallery, Proxy generated four images that showed both the technological innovation inherent in each project as well as the multitude of iterations (here shown as "search spaces") that flowed from each algorithm.
